What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is based on the principal that the body is mapped out on the feet. It is a holistic approach for mind, body and soul, and can be applied to the feet, hands, ears and face. Pressure is applied to the nerve endings and reflex points that correspond to all of the organs and systems of the body.
A reflexologist will work with their clients on an individual basis to help them achieve improved health and wellbeing on a emotional & physical level. Stimulating the nerve endings/reflexes on the feet is extremely helpful in bringing clients back into the parasympathetic nervous system, which gives the body a better chance at healing.
Gini Scott - Clinical Reflexologist
I am a qualified reflexologist with over 13 years of experience. After retraining in the UK, I discovered a deep passion for supporting people through touch-based therapies that help to calm the body and restore balance. My work combines traditional reflexology with facial reflexology and massage, allowing me to offer deeply relaxing and restorative treatments that support both physical wellbeing and emotional health.
I have a particular interest in women’s health and regularly work with clients during pregnancy, as well as supporting hormonal balance, fertility and the transition through menopause. These stages of life can bring significant physical and emotional change, and I aim to provide a calm, supportive space where the body can rebalance and the nervous system can settle.
Before retraining, I worked in a corporate environment, and my decision to change direction came from a desire to work more meaningfully with people and their wellbeing. I trained in the UK and continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing professional development.
I am currently training as an Integrative Somatic Practitioner, which reflects my growing interest in working more deeply with the nervous system and understanding how stress and emotional patterns are held in the body. This approach allows me to support clients not only with physical symptoms, but also with stress, anxiety and nervous system regulation.
My intention is always to create a gentle, nurturing space where you can feel safe enough to relax, let go and reconnect with yourself.
